OASIS IS A BIOMIMICRY INVENTION TO REDUCE THE LEVELS OF WATER RUN-OFF IN URBAN CENTERS
IT WILL CAPTURE THE WATER ON THE FACADES AND MAKE LITTLE URBAN ECOSYSTEMS ON IT. IT WILL WORK AS FOOD SOURCE AN HABITAT FOR THE ANIMAL SPECIES WHO LIVE IN THE CITIES, AND WILL ALSO HELP THE HOUSEHOLDS WHO USE IT.
THE PROJECT WILL IMPROVE THE WATER MANAGMENT IN URBAN CENTERS AND IT'S A WAY TO TURN THE RUN-OFF INTO AN ECOLOGICAL POTENTIAL.
BIOMIMICRY: THE PINEAPPLE

WATER RUN-OFF: Surface runoff is the flow of water that occurs when excess stormwater, meltwater, or other sources flows over the Earth's surface. There are different types depending on its provenance.

The run-off has increased because of the urbanization, it creates an increasement on the deforestation and the use of waterproof surfaces, that impede the filtration and evaporation of the water into the ground cutting off the water circle.
